ZENITH, COLUMN WHEEL MECHANICAL CHRONOGRAPH, 18K PINK GOLD, 1950s
ICONEEK price: 3’900.- CHF
Iconeek is proud to introduce here a fine and attractive 18K pink gold Zenith chronograph from the 1950s.
The model has a three-body construction: a large, almost 38 mm., tonneau-shaped, polished and brushed, 18K pink gold case with downturned lugs and rectangular chronograph pushers in the band, an inclined gold snap-on bezel, a snap on plain gold case back engraved with the serial number.
Under the glass, we discover a silvered, naturally patinated, dial with raised pink gold Baton indexes, two subsidiary guilloche dials for constant second at 9 and the 45-minute register at 3, outer minute and second black division with pain radial black 5-minute Arabic numerals, outermost blue tachymeter scale. The model is powered by a caliber Zenith 156, mechanical, hand wound, with straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with timing screws, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator and column-wheel mechanism for the chronograph. Case, dial and movement are signed. The size between the lugs is 20mm.
An interesting and unusual 1950s Zenith chronograph!
