The watch is in extremely good overall condition.
The Medor watch was created in 1993 and designed by Philippe Mouquet. This unusual watch reveals a secret compartment inspired by the collar of a boar-hunting dog. In fact, the dial is hiding behind a cabochon.
The present watch is from the second generation of the iconic Medor model. Whereas in the first generation, the hinged cabochon at 12 had to be lifted manually (see advertising), the new version is now fitted with a push button, integrated to the crown, who release the spring-loaded pyramidal cover, hinged at 9. The present watch is fitted with a silvery dial, a sapphire crystal glass, and Hermes logo engraved on the case back.
The retail price in 2010 was around 2'350 Euros
If you want to be chic & geek, the Medor is the right choice.
