Iconeek is proud to introduced here a nice, affordable and great looking 1970s automatic alarm wristwatch by Favre-Leuba: The Memo Raider.
The Memo Raider ca be considered as a sporty 1970s Memovox, as the model shares the same automatic alarm caliber from JLC. The Memo Raider belongs to the 1970s, during a time when the Favre family owned Jaeger-LeCoultre.
The model comes with a two-body construction: a stainless steel brushed water-resistant cushion shaped case, a screwed case back, a mineral crystal, two crowns on the band. The inside back is engraved « Stainless Steel ». The size between the lugs is 24 mm. This watch comes with a removable folded bracelet manufactured by NSA with extensible clasp.
Under the mineral glass, a superb two-tone blue dial, with applied Baton indexes, inner minute railway for the alarm, outer minute division, aperture for the date at 3, sweep center second. Under the screwed case back, we find a caliber 917 based JLC, rhodium-plated, self-winding, with blued steel screws. The rotor is signed « FAVRE-LEUBA SWISS MADE ». Dial, case and movement are signed.
Condition: good overall condition, few signs of wear, a scratch on the mineral glass, in working condition, overhaul recommended
