Ref. CK 2782 was launched in 1954, as well as Ref. KO 2782 with gold cap case. The model was firstly powered with a caliber Omega 352, created in 1949 with 17 jewels, then with caliber 354, such as the present watch, created in 1952 with 17 jewels.
 
The model comes with a three-body construction: a polished stainless steel circular case with concave lugs, a snap on case back with gold embossed Constellation logo, an inclined steel bezel, a hexagonal steel winding crown with logo. The inside back is engraved with the reference « 2782-1 SC », as well as instructions to fit the o-ring. Under the glass, a mint and original two-tone silvered dial with applied yellow gold faceted dart indexes, concentric minute divisions, sweep center second and yellow gold dauphine hands. Under the snap on back, we find an Omega caliber 354, copper-colored, 17 jewels, with straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator and bumper rotor. Dial, case and movement are signed. The present watch comes with a stainless steel Omega buckle.
 
According to Omega archives, the present watch, ref CK2782 with cal. 354, was delivered on November 25th, 1955, in Switzerland. We are grateful to Omega Museum department for their help.A similar wristwatch, ref. Condition: 8.5/10, case slightly repolished, mainly on the case back, dial and movement in superb condition.
